Times Eternal Hall:
Soft reflections buoy against times eternal halls, Filled with broken laughter from within decaying walls. Stones of white, Which cry out into the silent winter night Replete with full moons glow, And whispering prostrate priest Face down in gypsum snow. Seeking shadows In reflecting times Harking unto the song dead men sing waiting for hope from life's eternal spring. As tears of madness With neon legs crawl, Across oblivion And down times Eternal hall. J. Allen Wilson © 2004

| J allen a heartfelt beauty, and how well I know this feeling for tonight I feel it especially strong as I seem to be more steeped in meories of those lost than usual. I'm allowing the spirit of lost ones to visit since there is such a pull on my spirit, but I do feel drained.Sorry, but your poem caught me in this mood.May you and yours have a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving day! | |
