Unbelief

..

Fellow authors, though the trials of late have been many. This will be the last lament.

I shall not approach this subject any longer and I offer to you all, my sincerest apology.

In the future, my writes will carry a message from an objective point and not a personal one.

For it is true of life, we all face or will face trials and tribulation at some point.

And after reading over some of my laments, I realize that my cries

In the dark are useless. I really do want to thank everyone that has

Been kind enough to respond to these dark aspirations with kindness.

This is a true indicator of goodness. My many thanks go out to you all.

For you have shown me your kindness in word, prayers and deed.

Thank you and May God bless you all.

Unbelief

On bended knee

I CRY ALOUD UNTO THEE

Yet, you answer me not.

SO

Why…oh why I pray,

Have you, from me

Looked away.

What is it of me that you demand?

That I…in such helpless state,

may stay the lifting of your hand.

SO

LISTEN TO ME… and HEAR ME NOW

I plead.

Can it be

that you no longer hear?

Or is it you no longer see

Do you not understand

the immensity of my fear.

What more, oh what more

Must this worm called me do?

That would move you to open the heavens

And allow me to see your mercy is true .

For in this valley in which I now reside

I sit in meager silence and fearfully abide.

I stand against the coming winters chill

And I listen for your voice,

So that I may heed your will.

So, forgive me now for all my doubt,

And restore unto me my lost belief,

That I may truly see

The moving of your hand

In our absolute victory.

Hey if it helps, why not keep up your "laments"? I will read you whether you whine and bitch or are up and happy most of the time...I find my poetry, while sometimes weird and crazy and humorous, helps get me past the "whine and bitch", do what YOU need to do...Find Peace friend Al, Ed & Rufuz
